Weather & Temperature

During the day, the temperature can reach 85 to 90 degrees F in late July and during August. It is dry and can be hot. However, this changes dramatically at night as temperatures can drop into
the low 40’s or lower. Though drought has impacted the Teton Valley in recent years, rain and thunderstorms can develop quickly, along with strong wind.

What to Bring

Should you reserve a tent cabin, we will provide you with a more detailed list of things to bring.
They include:

• Clothing for both hot and cold weather: from shorts and t-shirts to fleece and rainproof jackets to stocking caps and gloves.

• Sporting equipment that you may want to bring, such as fly rods, hiking boots, bikes, etc. though bikes, fishing equipment and other gear can be rented in the area.

• Outerwear, including rainwear. Garments for warmth (down vests) and for rain, waterproof footwear—and make sure they keep you dry and don’t leak.

If you are inclined to enjoy viewing wildlife, make sure to bring a good pair of binoculars and all of your camera equipment.
