In every sense of the word, Barley Creek Camp is a ‘place’. Yes, it is a location—Driggs, Idaho, just 30 minutes over the pass from Jackson, Wyoming and located in one of the most dramatic and beautiful settings in the country, close to Teton and Yellowstone National Parks.
Barley Creek Camp is more than a location, though. It is also a ‘place’ where memories of a lifetime and new friendships are made. With
a full view of the majestic Teton Mountains in Idaho’s Teton Valley,
Barley Creek Camp is a sanctuary from busy modern life where
guests experience the beauty and simplicity of the outdoors in
comfort and style similar to the great safari camps of Africa.

Open from July 1 until October 21st, Barley Creek Camp rests on 52 acres and hosts three well appointed ‘tent cabins’ complete with electricity, cozy log beds, wood burning stoves, and ample ambiance. Each tent cabin sleeps four comfortably and also has its own adjoining bathroom complete with a hot shower/ bath. A full breakfast is served every morning to guests in our nearby ‘cook tent’ and the day is closed gathering around the fire circle—and, of course, looking for shooting stars.
Come for a visit. Give us a call or send us an email and we’ll be happy to answer questions and help in any way possible.
Best wishes,
Linda and John Unland

With Jackson Priced Out, a Nearby Valley Takes Off

The Teton Valley — 15 miles wide and twice as long — is cupped between the Big Hole
Mountains to the west and the Tetons to the east, straddling the Idaho-Wyoming border.
Along the valley floor, at 6,000 feet, the Teton River and its tributaries ramble through
sagebrush, cottonwoods and irrigation lines.
